Ambulance Victoria accepts your KINNECT medical and physical assessment for the periods below. Confirm specifics with your university placement coordinator before each rotation.
- Initial placement medical
- Valid for the duration of the current placement period as set by Ambulance Victoria.
- Subsequent placements
- A new assessment may be required if your previous medical has expired before your next rotation.
- Immunisations
- Reviewed against Ambulance Victoria’s current immunisation schedule at the time of the appointment.

How long does the appointment take?
Please allow up to 1.5 hours from the time of your confirmed appointment. This covers the medical assessment, the physical assessment and any onsite paperwork.
How do I book?
Complete the immunisation information form and the assessment order form below, then follow the booking instructions you receive.
What if I cannot make my appointment?
Reschedule directly through Carelever as early as possible. Late cancellations or no-shows can delay your placement start date, so leave plenty of lead time before placement begins.
Where are KINNECT clinics located?
KINNECT delivers the Ambulance Victoria Clinical Placement Medical from clinics around the country, including outside Victoria, so you can complete your assessment close to where you live or study.
