Quick answer

The short version

KINNECT runs customised Workplace Wellness Workshops on health and wellbeing topics — Healthy Heart, Heat & Hydration, Sun Safety, R U OK?, Men's and Women's Health, Eat Smart, Quit Smoking and more — delivered onsite as toolbox talks or indoors as seminars. Each session runs for 60 minutes for up to 30 participants and includes resources and educational materials. Workshops can be paired with onsite health services such as employee health assessments, spirometry, audiometry, ergonomic assessments, flu vaccinations and skin cancer checks to reinforce the message and improve return on investment.

Why workplace wellness pays off

Chronic disease is a workplace problem — and a fixable one.

Chronic disease diagnoses in Australia are climbing as a consequence of ageing and lifestyle factors — poor diet, alcohol consumption, sun exposure and physical inactivity. Those conditions place an unprecedented burden on the workplace through lost productivity, absenteeism and elevated injury risk. Practical, relevant education is one of the simplest ways to turn that trend around.

Lower absenteeism

Healthier workers take fewer sick days and recover faster when they do — directly reducing the productivity drag of chronic conditions on your team.

Fewer injuries

Many workplace injuries are aggravated by underlying fatigue, dehydration or deconditioning. Workshops address the root-cause behaviours, not just the symptoms.

A culture of care

Investing in wellbeing signals to your team that their health matters — which improves engagement, retention and your reputation as an employer of choice.

How it works

You pick the topics — we deliver them where your team works.

The most successful programs are the ones most relevant to their audience, so we invite you to decide the type and number of topics covered. Workshops can be run as short toolbox talks onsite or full seminars indoors — and pair naturally with our onsite health services for measurable, lasting impact.

  1. 1

    Choose your topics

Pick from 12+ ready-to-run topics, or tell us about a workforce issue you want addressed and we will tailor a session to match.

  2. 2

    Pick onsite or indoors

Toolbox-style talks delivered onsite work best for crews and shift workers. Seminar-style indoor sessions suit office teams and conference settings.

  3. 3

    Reinforce with onsite health services

Layer in employee health assessments, vaccinations, ergonomic checks or skin cancer screening on the same day to compound the impact.

Education sessions

12 ready-to-run health & wellness topics.

Each session is built around accurate, practical and realistic information — designed to improve employee awareness of prevention, treatment and management of common workplace health issues. Resources and educational materials are provided to every participant. Don’t see what you’re after? We tailor sessions on request.
