KINNECT Awarded Injury Prevention Contract for New Zealand's Aluminium Smelters

Announcements 20 Jan 2017

KINNECT today announced that the company has been awarded a new contract by New Zealand’s Aluminium Smelter (NZAS) for the provision of Job Dictionary and Risk Assessment Services.

NZAS is New Zealand’s only Aluminium Smelter and is located on Tiwai Peninsula, approximately 2.5 hours south of Queenstown. NZAS employs approximately 800 employees and generates approximately $1B in export revenue each year.

As part of the awarded contract, KINNECT will deliver Job Dictionaries and Risk Assessments across 16 identified high risk manual roles at the Smelter.

“KINNECT is excited about this new partnership with NZAS having previously worked with NZAS in 2015 on another injury prevention program.” says, Kevin Conlon – CEO.

“Our recognition as industry leaders in Occupational Health is evident throughout our operations in Australia and internationally.”

KINNECT is due to commence this newly awarded contract in early 2017.
