Gladstone - QAL/RTAY/BSL medicals

In order to access the Rio Tinto Alcan Yarwun alumina refinery (RTAY), Queensland Alumina Limited refinery (QAL) or Boyne Smelters Limited (BSL), employees must hold a 3-site medical card, formerly known as a medipass. This card grants employees and contractors the ability to work on each of these sites in Gladstone. Access to QAL/RTAY/BSL involve completing a specific medical that is governed directly by the sites. KINNECT is proud to be an approved medical provider for Gladstone 3 site medicals. Our medicals are conducted to site standards and uphold specific testing requirements, grading and documentation of results.

KINNECT have a convenient office located in West Gladstone, with additional locations across Australia able to complete the Gladstone 3 site medicals. Upon completion of the medical at KINNECT, contractors and employees will be issued with a blue card unless they are required to access high risk areas of BSL. In this case, a yellow card will be issued based on extra testing requirements.
