KINNECT's Festive Season Dates for 2023/24

The festive season is fast approaching, which means there are several important dates to take note of regarding appointment deadlines and our planned closure over the Christmas and New Year period.

KINNECT offices will close at 5:00pm (local time) on Friday 22 December 2023, and re-open at 8:00am on Tuesday 2 January 2024.

We anticipate that demand for our services will continue to be strong up until Christmas. For this reason, we are urging our valued clients to take note of the following important dates to ensure they can plan accordingly:

• 19 December: is the latest date clients can book an appointment and expect to receive results back before Christmas.
• 14 December: is the last date you clients can have a legislative medical or assessment with diagnostic testing (pathology or radiology). This allows our team the additional time required for these more complex assessments.
• 19 – 22 December: appointments will still be available throughout this period however results are not likely to be returned until the New Year.
• 23 December – 1 January: KINNECT will be closed.
• 2 January: KINNECT will reopen with appointment bookings to recommence. Results processing will also resume for bookings made between 19-22 December.

A season of gratitude and giving

The season provides us with a timely reminder of how our clients, friends and families have supported us and how we help others who may be in need.

Firstly, we’d like to thank our valued clients for their support throughout 2023. We are grateful for the opportunity to be their chosen health partner.

Secondly, as we did last year, we’re lending our support to Ngak Min Health – an inspiring organisation who is doing amazing work to improve the health of indigenous children in the Cape York Peninsula, not far from where the KINNECT story began.
