Top tips for recruitment success
Make a great impression with this advice from our Talent Acquisition Manager
- Research the company: Be sure to familiarise yourself with our mission, values, and recent developments before your phone screen. This shows your interest and readiness.
- Assess culture and values alignment: Think about whether our company culture resonates with your values—this is key in determining if we’re the right fit for you.
- Prepare for the interview, but stay natural: Avoid sounding too rehearsed. Prepare by focusing on knowing your key strengths, skills, and experiences so you can present them confidently and authentically.
- Provide enough detail during the phone screen: This is your first chance to make a strong impression and stand out from the crowd. Be sure to share relevant experiences and information to help us get to know you and your capabilities.
- Handle uncertainty calmly: If you need a moment during the interview, don’t hesitate to ask for clarification or return to the question later. Stay composed!
- Get your references organised: Choose referees who know you well and are relevant to the role. Strong references can make or break your application, so be thoughtful in your selection.
- Maintain professionalism throughout the process: Communication matters. Ensure your emails are timely, spell-checked, and professional. Respond promptly and show attention to detail, especially when you’re asked to research or complete tasks such as registrations.
- Be proactive: If a registration or driver’s license is required, get started early. It shows that you’re organised and committed.
