KINNECT welcomes Dr. Kadiongo to its Perth Medical Team

KINNECT is delighted to welcome a new face to our highly skilled Medical Team, Dr Blanchard Kadiongo, Occupational Health Doctor.

KINNECT’s Western Australia operations have seen an exciting development with the addition of Dr. Blanchard Kadiongo to its Perth Medical Team. As KINNECT’s 13th Occupational Health Doctor, Dr. Kadiongo joins a team of highly experienced Occupational Medicine Doctors and Physicians.

Dr. Kadiongo brings extensive experience in the field of occupational medicine, allowing him to conduct a range of medical assessments including pre-employment, health surveillance, and legislative medicals such as asbestos and respirable crystalline silica (Safework and DMIRS), as well as commercial and dangerous goods driving medicals. Additionally, he is an Authorised Health Professional (AHP) for Rail Category 1, 2, and 3 health assessments.

On joining KINNECT, Dr Kadiongo, said: 

“As someone who has worked regularly with KINNECT through an affiliated clinic, I am excited about deepening our relationship by joining the KINNECT team in the Belmont clinic. This will enable a broader range of medical services to be offered. I am also looking forward to working closely with Tamsin Hearn (State Manager) and the team, as well as collaborating with KINNECT Physicians across Australia to ensure the delivery of high-quality occupational health services.

About Dr Blanchard Kadiongo, GP, FACRRM 

Blanchard graduated from the University of Lubumbashi in DR Congo and spent his initial postgraduate years acquiring experience and expertise working in a variety of disciplines in hospitals throughout the South of the DR Congo. He later immigrated to South Africa where he spent a productive number of years working at the Pretoria Academic Hospital. 

Since coming to Australia, Dr Kadiongo has continued his training in Emergency and ICU Departments of Westmead Hospital in Sydney, Port Macquarie Hospital, Albany Health Campus, PMH, Joondalup, Toodyay, Port Hedland and Newman. 

Dr. Kadiongo has extensive experience within the ICU and Emergency Medicine with special clinical interests in sport medicine, orthopaedic surgery, minor surgery, chronic illness, and mental and occupational health to name a few. 

Dr Kadiongo has attained his Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM) and is fully competent to manage all aspects of General Medicine. 

In addition to working as a GP, Blanchard is also a Doctor for the Royal Flying Doctors Service. 

He speaks fluent French and Swahili. Away from work he enjoys photography, travelling and spending time with his family.
