KINNECT was established in 1996 as a provider of Occupational Injury Prevention, Injury Management, Health and Medical services.  KINNECT has since grown to become the #1 Privately Owned Occupational Health Company in Australia.  This combined with our close network of affiliate providers gives us capacity to deliver our suite of Occupational health services both nationally and internationally.

We are a multi-disciplinary team of medical and allied health professionals who are passionate about making people at work Healthy, Safe and Productive.  Our length of time in this industry has enabled us to develop strong and close relationships with General Practitioners, Specialists and other allied health professionals in order to meet our client’s entire needs.

It is mandatory for all KINNECT staff to be registered with the necessary regulatory bodies and hold memberships with their relevant professional associations.  The regulatory bodies and associations to which our medical and allied health staff currently maintain registration and/or membership with are listed below.

KINNECT holds ISO certification with regards to Australian Standards:

  • AS/NZS 9001: 2008 Quality Management Systems
  • AS/NZS 4801: 2001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems
  • AS/NZS 14001: 2004 Environment Management Systems including current legislative requirements for WHS Act 2011 and associated Regulations and Codes of Practice.


KINNECT ISO Accredited Occupational Health Provider

Occupational Health Drug and Alcohol Testing

KINNECT are accredited for the collection, screening, storage and transportation of urine and oral fluid specimens with the National Association of Testing Authorities Australia (NATA). Achieving NATA Accreditation is recognition that our quality assurance processes and testing procedures for drug testing meet the following Australian Standards for Drug Testing:

  • AS/NZS 4308:2008 – Drugs for Toxicological Purposes in Urine – Section 2: Specimen Collection, Storage, Handling and Dispatch
  • AS/NZS 4308:2008 – Drugs for Toxicological Purposes in Urine – Appendix A: On-site Screening procedures
  • AS/NZS 4760:2006 – Drugs for Toxicological Purposes in Oral Fluid – Section 2: Collection, Storage, Handling and Dispatch

NATA Accredited Drug and Alcohol Testing Agency Provider
