Influx of new hires & promotions a boost to KINNECT Victoria

KINNECT Victoria, our Team of the Year for 2022, has made a strong start to the year by welcoming in eight new hires.

A combination of new graduates and experienced allied health professionals have joined the team which recently held the #1 Original Employer Services provider for WorkSafe Victoria.

To provide additional support to all the new starters, experienced Occupational Therapist, Sarah Gandolfo, a recent graduate of KINNECT Emerging Leaders Program was promoted to Team Manager, joining fellow Occupational Therapist, Melinda Narayan in this role.

While in 2022, the state took on three new graduates; this year there are four new Victorian graduates to become KINNECTers.

Bhumikaben Darji, Kasey Davies and Courtney Slatter all join KINNECT from Victoria University. The trio have recently received their accreditation as Exercise Physiologists. New graduate Angela Balakas also joined from La Trobe University as a Rehabilitation Counsellor.

Investing in the next generation of Workplace Rehabilitation professionals looks set to continue to as the team has also welcomed two students.

Noah Krznaric, an Exercise Physiology student from Australian Catholic University and Hajara Diyab, an Occupational Therapy student from Bond University started placements during January.

To round out the new-hires, Jemimah Nicholson, has joined as an Osteopath, the third to have joined the team in recent months. Jemimah, while new to workplace rehabilitation has over 10 years clinical experience. Katie Masterson has also joined as an Occupational Therapist with two years clinical experience already under her belt.
