It is a requirement that all workers performing duties on a Chevron controlled site undergo a Pre-employment Medical Assessment to evaluate whether they are fit to perform the requirements of their job role and adequately meet Chevron’s fitness for duty requirements for site.
With an understanding of Chevron’s Fitness for Duty procedure and medical assessment requirements KINNECT are able to conduct Chevron Pre-employment Medicals nationally.

Medical Requirements
With respect to Chevron Pre-employment Medicals, there are three categories of assessments with the medical requirements and validity differing for each.
Perth Medical
Any Perth based individual required to partake in operating of heavy machinery, confined space, working from heights or required to complete frequent (more than 6 nights) site travel must undergo this medical.
Remote Offshore and/or Marine Medical
Based in a location greater than one-hour flight from a tertiary hospital. In Western Australia tertiary hospitals are only based in Perth. For Chevron remote locations include Barrow Island, Thevenard Island, Onslow, offshore platforms, offshore rigs, Dampier, Karratha.
Emergency Response Team Medical
Any employee undertaking emergency response duties on a Chevron site.
Additional clearances that may be required
- OGUK Clearance – required should an individual be attending an offshore oil and gas operation (Ensco, Technip, DoF or any other non-Chevron Vessels).
- AMSA Certification – required for marine employees
