Gladstone Industry Medical Pass – Pre-Employment & Health Surveillance Assessments
KINNECT is an approved medical provider for:
- Queensland Alumina Limited (QAL)
- Rio Tinto Yarwun Alcan (RTA)
- Boyne Smelters Limited (BSL)
- NRG Gladstone Power Station
As an approved provider, KINNECT can issue the Gladstone Industry Medical Pass (previously known as the Gladstone 3 Site Medical Card or “Medipass”), granting contractors and employees access to these sites.
How it Works
Step 1 – Referral or Booking
- Existing clients: Submit referrals via Carelever Screen or Carelever Monitor (dependent on the employment status of the individual) using your login.
- New clients: Contact KINNECT to set up an account for portal access.
- One-off bookings: Available online via the Click & KINNECT Shop.
Step 2 – Availability
Candidate / Employee receives a text message to confirm availability.
Step 3 – Appointment Scheduled
Appointments are booked within 3 business days of referral (subject to Candidate / Employee availability).
Step 4 – Appointment Reminder
Candidate / Employee receives SMS and email reminders 24 hours before their appointment.
Step 5 – Assessment
The Gladstone Industry Medical Pass assessment is completed.
Step 6 – Results Card
A physical Results Card is available for collection at our Gladstone office.
Step 7 – Results
Employers receive:
- Full assessment results
- Digital site access card

What are Site Standards?
Testing requirements and grading are governed by the sites. KINNECT ensures all assessments meet these standards.
What if an employee does not meet the standards?
Contractors can request re-assessment onsite through the relevant onsite medical centres. If successful, restrictions may be removed from the access card.
