2020 Workplace Flu Vaccination Clinics
*** 3RD APRIL 2020: KINNECT STILL HAS FLU VACCINE STOCKS AND IS TAKING BOOKINGS ***
Australia’s peak in COVID-19 cases may converge with our annual influenza season. As such, it is recommended that all Australian’s consider getting the influenza vaccination to help lower their risk of catching the flu. Having a flu vaccination will not prevent someone from catching COVID-19 however it will help to reduce the severity and spread of seasonal influenza, which can lower a person’s immunity and make them susceptible to other illnesses, such as COVID-19.
Many companies consider influenza vaccinations an effective strategy for reducing sick leave during flu season. Furthermore, offering a workplace flu vaccination program assists in increasing productivity, protecting your business and showing your workers that you care about their health.
Why would you get vaccinated against the flu? Very simple answer… so you don’t catch it.
The influenza virus is very contagious and always around. Epidemics do occur every year. A mobile Australian population means disease can spread quickly across great distances. The flu feels dreadful, so minimising the risk makes great sense. Flu shots stimulate your body to build your immunity against the disease.
KINNECT uses the Quadrivalent Vaccination. We provide fantastic service providing onsite flu vaccines at your workplace or you can come to us.
Did you know that vaccinated workers require less than half the sick days of unvaccinated workers?
