KINNECT is the approved provider of compliant Respirator Fit Tests for Boyne Smelters Ltd (BSL) site access.
BSL requires all employees and contractors, working in dust and/or fume areas, to wear a respirator. To determine which respirator mask will provide the highest level of protection for each employee / contractor, a respirator fit test must be completed prior to attending site.
Employees and contractors must undertake a respirator fit test every 2 years at a minimum. BSL have provided KINNECT with samples of the respirator masks that are available for use onsite and for which an individual will use when having a respirator fit test performed.
KINNECT only conducts respirator fit testing for BSL at our Gladstone clinic.
After you complete a respirator fit test, KINNECT will issue you with a printed copy of your results, which you can present to BSL as part of the requirement to access the site.

Individual Tests

A respirator fit test can be booked online as a standalone service in the Click & KINNECT Shop. Just search for BSL – Respirator Fit Test. Make sure you also tell us your mask type (Full Face, Half Face or P2/N95) when making your booking.

Group Bookings
Up to 9 employees, conducted in a 4-hour block of time: $1000.00
Up to 18 employees, conducted in an 8-hour block of time: $1750.00
Contractors with multiple employees can make a group booking by:
- Clicking on the link below
- Selecting the ‘Get a Quote /Information on our Services’ option
- Selecting ‘Health Surveillance’ and then ‘Respirator Fit Testing’
- Completing and submitting the form. Make sure to tell us that you require a BSL Respirator Fit Test and include the mask type (Full Face, Half Face or P2/N95).
