KINNECT Victoria opens in South Yarra, Melbourne

Announcements 27 Oct 2016

KINNECT Victoria opens in South Yarra, Melbourne

James Buckley, Director of KINNECT Victoria officially opened the new South Yarra KINNECT office today.

“Who wouldn’t want to work in one of the most liveable cities in the world?”

says James, who lives in Melbourne with his wife Emma and their one-year-old daughter, Lydia.

The South Yarra location is a central base for KINNECT’s injury management and injury prevention clinicians who travel throughout Melbourne to Keep People At Work Healthy Safe & Productive.  It is also accessible for the many pre-employment medical applicants who are screened in the South Yarra clinic.

Beau Peters, KINNECT Occupational Health Consultant, is excited about the new office too.

“South Yarra train station is just a stone’s throw away, tram lines run direct from the CBD and eastern suburbs and there’s parking nearby.  It’s the ideal base to service the city and the state.”

Beau moved to KINNECT earlier this year to be involved in the set up and development of the new KINNECT office.

“It was a rare chance to progress my career – I had to jump at it.  The fact that KINNECT is one of the Top 10 Best Places To Work in Australia was an added bonus.  I haven’t looked back for a second.”

Beau says he enjoys the variety of his role:

“I like meeting new people, travelling to new and different workplaces or delivering a range of different services.”

This is a good thing, considering that in a given week, Beau could be doing Injury Management and Prevention, Office Ergonomics Assessments and Training, Job Task Analysis, Pre-Employment Assessments, Drug and Alcohol Testing or Manual Handling Training.

KINNECT has delivered Injury Prevention and Occupational Health Services in Victoria since 2011.  And now, James and Beau are excited by the potential growth the new Melbourne branch provides the business and by the high level of service KINNECT Victoria continues to provide to an increasing number of customers.
