KINNECT sponsors Safety Connect Conference 2017

KINNECT is proud to again support the FNQ Safety Group’s annual Safety Connect Conference on Thursday 11th May at the Sheridan Hotel. The FNQ Safety Group was founded to:

1. Promote and advance the science and practice of workplace health and safety throughout Far North Queensland.
2. Foster and maintain integral working relationships among safety officers, co-ordinators, consultants and management of workplaces throughout Far North Queensland.
3. Provide to those safety practitioners a support function and forum in which relevant safety issues pertaining to workplaces may be identified and discussed through monthly meetings.
4. To promote and advance workplace health and safety through consultation with and support from Workplace Health and Safety, Queensland.
5. To provide to all employers and workplaces throughout Far North Queensland access to educational material, safety seminars and forums in which all parties may participate.
6. To develop and maintain close relationships with other organisations in the promotion of workplace health and safety.

This year the Safety Connect Conference will host Australian Olympian Libby Trickett as a special guest speaker, along with David Clarke from the SIA, and Norris Carter from Cairns Airport. As a local business to both Cairns and Townsville, KINNECT is proud to support the FNQ Safety Group in its mission in supporting and assisting those involved in workplace health and safety in the region.
