KINNECT CEO named in Top 25 Influencers of Exercise and Sports Science in Australia

In the December issue of Exercise & Sports Science Australia’s (ESSA) journal – Activate – CEO, Anita Hobson-Powell announced her top 25 influencers of exercise and sports science in Australia.

“In celebration of ESSA’s 25 year anniversary, I was asked to think about the 25 individuals who I believe have had the most impact on the exercise and sports science industry. This was an incredibly tough task as there have been hundreds of people who have played incredibly valuable roles in our professions and association, trying to narrow these down to just 25 was difficult to say the least,” explains Ms. Hobson-Powell.

CEO and Managing Director of KINNECT, Kevin Conlon, was named within this prestigious list. Kevin was recognised in this distinguished list due to his contributions to both the ESSA National Board and Queensland State Chapter. His work over the past two decades has paved the way for the Exercise Physiology profession for job growth and the recognition of AEPs, especially in the field of workplace rehabilitation and health services.

“Being named in this list is definitely one of the highlights of my career, however nothing makes me even more prouder than to reflect on the number of employment opportunities we’ve helped create in the occupational health industry.” says Kevin Conlon.
