On 26 May 2025, KINNECT opened the doors to a permanent home in Bundaberg, strengthening our commitment to delivering high-quality services to regional businesses.

Following last year’s opening in Newcastle and our new office in Adelaide (set to open in June), establishing a physical presence in Bundaberg is part of a broader strategy to expand KINNECT’s footprint in key locations.
This marks KINNECT’s tenth location in Queensland and its first in the Wide Bay area.

The Bundaberg clinic provides a permanent, local base for businesses seeking support with pre-employment assessments, workplace rehabilitation, and ongoing health monitoring, eliminating the need for employers to outsource services to neighbouring cities and reducing delays in employee onboarding and care.Exterior shot of the Bundaberg office

“Our new Bundaberg office is an exciting step forward in supporting the health and safety of regional workforces,” said Dave Hughes, CEO of KINNECT. “By bringing our services closer to local businesses, we’re reducing turnaround times, cutting travel requirements, and enabling employers to make faster, more confident hiring and health decisions.”

“As a regional employer, we understand the challenges local businesses face when it comes to accessing quality workplace health services,” said Dave Hughes. “Our presence here is about solving that problem—locally, reliably, and with the same expertise we’re known for nationally.”

Brett Heiner, KINNECT’s Team Manager for Central Queensland, is based in Bundaberg and will lead the new clinic while overseeing operations in Rockhampton and Gladstone. “Managing all three locations allows us to deliver consistent, high-quality services across the region and foster strong, lasting partnerships with local employers,” he said.

Bundaberg businesses and surrounding communities can now access KINNECT’s full suite of workplace health services, including:
• Pre-employment medicals and functional assessments
• Injury prevention, management, and return-to-work support
• Occupational health surveillance and monitoring programs
• Drug and alcohol testing
• Health and well-being initiatives tailored for the workforce

Services at the Bundaberg office can be booked through Carelever (clients only) or via the KINNECT online shop.
