As the sole electricity supplier in Tasmania, our employees face numerous physical challenges in a variety of challenging environments, requiring support and training from the businesses. TasNetworks engaged KINNECT to identify, assess, develop materials and provide interactive training to people who perform high risk manual task work across the state of Tasmania. Of all the applications received during our manual task tender process, KINNECT offered the most competitive, innovative and tailored approach. In particular, KINNECT offered a fresh perspective on manual task assessment and training, clearly embracing interactive learning styles and new technologies to appeal to a broader audience. KINNECT really understood the need for hands-on and engaging training for field crew, and focused their training with a kinaesthetic approach to suit our workers. Another strong aspect of KINNECT's service is being flexible and adaptive to the businesses needs and nature of responsive work. This was evident from the beginning of our working relationship when, during the tender interviews, they offered to attend a senior manager meeting to provide assist leaders to engage with the program from an early stage. They also adapted their reporting processes to meet our business demands, giving us a more detailed progress report, which assisted us to provide information about the project easier to management and keep account of finances. If an issue did occur I could always contact someone promptly to address it, and the customer service I received, was outstanding. I would recommend KINNECT to businesses who want a new and personalised approach to managing manual tasks.
